Why was my order canceled?

We are a network of locally owned stores, and most fleetfeet.com orders are fulfilled by a Fleet Feet store as opposed to from a distribution center. This can sometimes cause store-level inventory errors to make an item appear available on our website, when it is either unfit for sale due to wear, is on reserve for another customer, or was already sold but not taken out of our inventory system. One of these cases likely occurred either within our fleetfeet.com inventory system or at the Fleet Feet store that was to fulfill your order, and there were no other locations in our system with your item in inventory such that we could reassign your order. Please note, the item may still show available online for a brief period; however, we are unable to fulfill any further orders for the item.
