Why isn't my Strava account connecting to the app?

  • Are your activities set to “public” within the privacy settings of Strava? This is a requirement for integrating with the app. To change privacy settings within Strava, visit the "More" tab and click on "Settings." Scroll down to "Privacy Controls" and allow "Everyone" to view your activities. 
  • Are you using GPS to track and upload your runs or walks? (Versus uploading them manually.) Your walks/runs must be recorded directly through the Strava App and not a third party device such as a Fitbit. Additionally, we cannot accept manually uploaded runs or walks within the app, they must be tracked - this extends to treadmill activity as well. When Strava is used indoors on a treadmill, the GPS will remain inactive during this activity.
  • Have you hit your 100 mile a month limit? If so then your Strava account is most likely still connected to our app, however you are not earning miles as the limit has been reached
